About.
Hey! I’m Zoe, a photographer based in the Ipswich and Brisbane region with a deep love for capturing connection!
I bought my first DSLR when I was 18, and ever since I’ve been the person at every event with a camera in hand. What started as a hobby quickly became something more. I found joy not just in taking the photos, but in seeing how much joy they brought to others. Over the years, I’ve had the honour of documenting some of life’s most intimate and emotional moments. Being invited into such personal spaces, especially during labours, has been an incredible honour. Those experiences have left a lasting impact on me and continue to remind me why I do what I do.
Photography has given me the incredible gift of preserving memories for the people I love, and now, I get to do the same for others. I want to give you something tangible, meaningful, and lasting. A way to remember and show off the love in your life.
Beyond photographing people, I also have a deep appreciation for the natural world. My camera has taken me on countless hikes, and bird photography has become a personal passion of mine. There's always been a bit of a tug-of-war between my love for capturing human connection and my awe for nature. But I see it as the perfect balance and a reflection of who I am.
I’m also a bit of a film photography nerd. I love to collect vintage cameras (currently sitting at 10!) and love experimenting with different films. Some of these cameras are just for fun, others have sentimental value, like the first film camera I inherited from my grandfather in high school. I love the slower, intentional nature of shooting on film, and if you’re interested in incorporating that aesthetic into your shoot, I’d love to bring that magic to your session.
At the end of the day, photography is more than just images to me, and I’d love to help tell your story. I’m always open to travelling for shoots if your story takes us beyond the Brisbane area. Whether we’re in your home, in the city, or out in the middle of nowhere, I’m all in.
Take a look around, browse through my socials, and if you feel like we’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!
